AVAILABLE SERVICES
With the addition of a Caseworker to our Staff, we are now able to provide
Services to our Tenants designed to promote self-sufficiency and Tenant
participation in group activities.
These Services include but are not limited to:
Education Services:
A GED locator Test is given to determine if
Tenants are ready to take a GED Test, or if they have areas to strengthen before
taking the test, a Prepatory Test is available. Tutoring is also available.
Tests can be given at the Urban League or at an Oriana House facility.
College courses are available with financial assistance and tutoring if
needed.
Employment Assistance:
Assistance in finding part time or full time
employment through ads, job fairs and temporary services is provided.
Earn while you learn Programs are available.
Psychological services:
Assistance to address personal issues are
provided through Summit Psychological Services and are kept confidential.
Daily Living Needs:
Assistance in getting groceries, clothing,
personal hygiene items and household items is also provided.
Our Group activities includes:
Baking, Pumpkin carving, Card Games,
Field Trips and Community Car Washes.
