Oriana House began on-site drug testing in 1989 for internal community corrections and chemical dependency programs. Our lab is CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments) certified through the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. This certification involves an on-sight inspection by a CLIA inspector ensuring that rigorous guidelines are met. The lab also participates in quarterly proficiency testing provided by the American Association of Bioanalysts and has scored a 100% on the surveys since enrollment in 1997.
In addition to available testing for Oriana House clients, our state-of-the-art laboratory is conducive for offering drug testing services to other organizations throughout the community, and capable of handling a high volume of tests. Businesses, companies, and agencies in need of drug screening for employment and job opportunities can utilize the laboratory for cost-efficient and reliable testing services. The lab serves as a site where individuals can come to take an unobserved urine drug screen. Precautions are used in the testing process to ensure a quality result, including the shutting off of running water into the test site while the sample is being collected. Due to a barcode system and electronic recordkeeping, test results are virtually operator-error proof, ensuring accuracy. Currently, the lab conducts testing for the following drugs: Cannabinoids, Cocaine, Amphetamine/Methamphetamine, Benzodiazepines, Barbiturates and Opiates.

Note: The Oriana House Lab is not a SAMHSA certified facility and may not be able to provide testing to government agencies and departments, or other organizations that require SAMHSA certified testing.
