South East Ohio Substance Abuse Treatment

Intensive Outpatient Program (including opiate specific treatment)

The Intensive Outpatient Program is a six-week, intensive substance abuse treatment program designed for clients who do not require inpatient or residential care. The program consists of individual and group counseling, involvement with self-help groups, family education, relapse prevention, and 12 weeks of aftercare. Services are provided in both day and evening sessions.

For individuals who are addicted to opioids (includes heroin and many prescription drugs), the Intensive Outpatient Program is adapted to address issues specific to the withdrawal and recovery from these drugs.

Aftercare/Continuing Care

Aftercare/Continuing Care provides 12 weeks of continued treatment for the chemically addicted client after a treatment program has been completed. Services include weekly, 90-minute group sessions and individual treatment plans. Oriana House offers this service for clients completing Oriana House programs and for individuals completing other chemical dependency treatment programs. There is no cost to the client for this program.

Family Matters (for family members)

At Oriana House we believe that addiction is a disease that affects the entire family. Our Family Matters is designed to educate, support, and promote healing through specific forums designed with the family member in mind, along with integrated skill building and communication exercises. The Family Matters is led by licensed chemical dependency treatment counselors and is offered to family members and friends of individuals affected by addiction. Registration is required for the free, weekly, evening classes.

Family Matters meetings are held at Rigel Recovery Services, 27750 State Route 7, Marietta. Click here for more information.
