Rigel Recovery Services in Norwalk opens Revive & Thrive Coffee House to Support People in Recovery
Oriana House’s Rigel Recovery Services is proud to announce the reopening of its Revive & Thrive Coffee House. An open house was celebrated on Friday, July 25, at 1 East Willard Avenue in Norwalk.
The coffee house, located on the second floor of Rigel Recovery Services, was temporarily closed after a 2024 lightning strike and fire caused significant damage. Now fully restored, the Revive & Thrive Coffee House features a newly designed, welcoming space where individuals in recovery can safely gather to read, write, meditate, watch movies, play music, and more—all in an environment that supports healing and connection.
During the open house, Rigel Recovery Services’ professional team of licensed mental health clinicians, chemical dependency counselors, and a nurse practitioner were available to discuss services. Visitors also had the opportunity to hear a personal testimonial of how Rigel Recovery is helping clients and how the Revive & Thrive Coffee House could aid in recovery.
“The Revive & Thrive Coffee House is a welcoming space for anyone on a recovery journey – whether that’s mental health, substance use, or both,” said Deanna Speir England, clinical director of Rigel Recovery Services. “It’s designed to build connection, offer support, and provide encouragement in a safe and stigma-free environment.”
